Editing & Proofreading
I offer comprehensive editing and proofreading services to ensure your manuscript is polished and publication-ready. My services cover content editing, line editing with copy editing, and proofreading, all tailored to meet your specific project needs.

General Process

1. Initial Consultation: I begin with a consultation where you’ll provide a sample of your project (typically around five pages). I’ll review and return this sample within 24 hours, unless otherwise specified, so you can confirm that my style aligns with your expectations. I use track changes in Microsoft Word so you can see and approve of all edits and suggestions I provide.

2. Project Agreement: Once you approve the sample, we’ll finalize the project details, including signing an editorial contract and reserving your project date. To secure your reservation, a nonrefundable deposit is required, which will be credited toward your total service cost.

Service Options

1.Content Editing: This service is ideal for early-stage manuscripts needing a thorough review of structure, pacing, plot, and character development. I’ll check for continuity, consistency in voice and style, and alignment with the author’s intent.

2. Line Editing with Copy Editing: This service combines an in-depth line edit with copy editing, addressing grammar, punctuation, plot consistency, character development, pacing, and style.

3. Proofreading: For manuscripts that have already undergone editing, I provide a final check to correct spelling, grammar, punctuation, and minor timeline issues. This service ensures minimal errors for publication.

4. Final Check: An optional add-on service for authors who want an additional read-through before publication. Recommended after other edits.

All manuscripts should be submitted as Word documents, with edits completed using Track Changes. I follow both The Chicago Manual of Style and Merriam-Webster as references. 
Grant & Proposal Writing

I provide expert support in grant writing for academic research grants and non-profits, as well as crafting academic research and project proposals. Leveraging my experience in both academic and non-profit sectors, I develop compelling, well-researched proposals that highlight the strengths of your project, align with funder priorities, and increase your chances of securing funding. My services include proposal development, budget planning, narrative writing, and thorough review to ensure clarity and impact.


1. Initial Consultation: We start with a discussion of your project’s goals, funding needs, and targeted grant or funding body. During this stage, I’ll review any existing materials you have and discuss deadlines, specific guidelines, and any requirements.


2. Project Agreement: Once we confirm the project scope and timeline, we’ll finalize a contract detailing the terms of the service, including a deposit to secure your project date. This deposit goes toward the overall service fee and is nonrefundable if canceled. Depending on the length of the project, the fee structure may be: for shorter projects, 40% up front and 60% upon completion; or for longer projects, 30% up front, 30% at an agreed-upon midpoint, and the final 40% upon completion.

3. Proposal Development: I draft the proposal, including a compelling narrative, budget outline, and objectives that align with the funder’s priorities. I’ll keep you updated throughout the writing process, providing drafts for your review and feedback.

4. Finalization and Submission: After incorporating any revisions, we complete the final review to ensure all criteria are met. Once the draft is finalized, you are responsible for submitting it to the appropriate agency and my work is done. The final payment installment is due at this time.
Research

I offer customized research services tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. 


With a strong academic background and extensive experience in archival research, data analysis, and content synthesis, I provide in-depth, accurate, and reliable information for a variety of projects. My services include historical research, academic support, report preparation, literature reviews, and data collection. Whether you need assistance with background research for a project, in-depth studies for scholarly articles, or comprehensive reports, I am dedicated to delivering high-quality research results.

2. Project Agreement: Once the project scope and timeline are clear, we’ll finalize a contract outlining the service terms, including a deposit to secure the project start date. This deposit is credited toward the final invoice and is nonrefundable if canceled.


3. Data Collection and Analysis: I gather data through reliable sources, using both primary and secondary materials as needed. Regular updates will keep you informed on progress and findings.


4. Report and Presentation: After completing the research, I’ll provide a well-organized report that includes key findings, analysis, and relevant citations. I can also deliver findings in your preferred format, whether as a detailed report, presentation, or summary document.
